Ghana Private Investors' Club (GPIC) acts as an expert facilitator during entrepreneur introductions to potential investors and during investor introductions to local and qualified potential partners. The company is led by a team of investment professionals, each interested in ventures primarily in Ghana and in financing privately held companies at varying stages of development - from early stage to capacity-building.
GPIC concentrates its efforts on prospective investments that offer economic development opportunities to the economically disadvantaged. The company aims to promote technology transfer to strengthen potential human and natural resource use in Ghana. GPIC supports investment in all sectors of the Ghanaian economy, with potential members required to hold some experience or knowledge in developing economies or a strong desire, willingness and capability to learn substantive components of the emerging market economies, such as that of Ghana.
To reach this end, GPIC also provides complementary corporate concierge services for U.S. business travelers to Ghana. Customized to meet the needs of each traveler, concierge services ensure the most rewarding and productive experience possible. Requests include travel coordination, meeting planning and business services as well as assistance navigating through local towns, dining, entertaining and connecting with family at home, business associates, government officials, heads of quasi-state agencies and local corporations. |
